I would start by going to the address he gave you which if you just use mapquest wouldn't be that hard to find.

 

i dont think he was dumb enuff you give him his real address, comon guys think smarter than that...
tkae this up with cops and give them his AIM S/N if you stay on thier ass about it and make them help you im sure they can come up with something from that alone
and also his IP from when he posted is here saved on TR, ask the admins nice enough and someone will give it to you, that would help too

 

No he might not live there, but i doubt he pulled that real address out of his ass. He might know some one who lives there or it could even be his mothers house. Either way it's all he's got to go on, so it wouldn't hurt to try. He should at the very least call the police and make a report. This should be an easy case for the authorities though, it's just if they do something in a timely manner that's the question.

 

I doubt he uses that sn anymore, they might be able to trace the Ip Adresse It came from though.

 

Those methods are just as unreliable as letting the car go for a personal check. Scammers out there also use fake CCs and MOs.

Never hand over the product till the cash is in hand or the check clears.

 

Pm a admin on here and tell them your story they can get an IP address or if they can't/won't give it to you ask them to give it to the authorities....you gotta stay on the cops asses though.

 

very true when i was talking to a cop about fake money they told me that the lexus dealer on D.M. got fucked over for like 60,000 some guy made a fake C.check or something and the guy walkd out with a brand new sc400
