I think most of us are glad we don't know Driss. I personally don't associate with theives.
As far as making a new start....most people who make a 'new start' try not to do illegal things. I'm scared to even imagine what he was into before he started off in this fresh new life of grand theft and fraud.
And as far as the kids go, I feel sorry for them. I couldn't imagine having this dude as a role model.

I'm glad I don't know who "Driss" is and I don't want to. If I knew "Driss" I'd beat him so hard he'd have to change it to "Dripp". Therefore, I think a little bit of giving-him-a-bad-name on the net should be much welcomed over the alternative.

dayum man. all i can say is future advice or advice for anyone:
you can call a bank with the account number and name to see if funds are available to clear a check
always meet the party at the bank to cash the check immediately if they refuse a certified or cashiers check, then once the transaction is complete you can release the product
get a lawyer. most likely the check is fake.
