Come on now...if they had a list ahead of time, what's to stop them from arranging the runs in an order that will put the faster cars out first?

Just find a way to determine an approximate order of fastest to slowest, spread out the time they start, and that should be enough.

20-minute sessions vs 3 one-minute runs?

I'll take the track.

where did you see the word "race" in what John posted. This is a great intro for some people to get out on the track and see if its there cup of tea. Ive personally been waiting for something like this done through TR. And my car is completely set up for something like this and I would much rather spend $75 and do some laps for 20 mins then spend $30 at 1320 just to spend a couple seconds on the track. But thats me

That would depend on if you are an automatic or a stick.
