Sorry,wrong..
Im not a very big guy or a small guy,but a "short block" 12A takes 2 to carry.. and yes its ball busting

NEW engine design,I heard ?Mazdaspeed? already is experimenting with a Turbo version?
With a new engine design,They should of by now have came out with a boosted version.. but keep in mind.. Rotarys are emssion monsters, and the new design was based mostley to stay away from the bad emission problems the old ones had..

ROFLMAO!!11 tell that to all them Honda Civic kids

Seriuosly.. 25k on a car to do 10k in mods is not bad, not my cup of tea.. but theres guys spending 20k in mods on a 8k car.
Speed cost.. how fast do you want to go?

I personally dont like the RX8 much, its not inline of a sports car for me..
the 20B should of hit the US,but Mazda market for the US went to shit. They stopped shipping RX7s to the US after the 95 models, but sold them in Japan till 2002.

There could of been alot of bad cars Mazda could of put out,if they would of thought right.. but keep in mind, most car manufactors are not pushing cars "to be the fastest stock"Alot of our cars here are tuned down. From thier sister counter parts..

we're talking stock here, not the new and improved, up-and-coming, experimentative, who-knows-if-it'll-ever-happen version. she asked about rx8's and i think mazda's failure to add boost to their redesigned motor is disappointing.

and most of those honda civic kids aren't going out and spending twenty+ grand on a brand new car only to add another twenty grand in mods. they're starting with an inexpensive platform and putting the bulk of their money into making it perform.

I'd buy one cause I like the looks and I like the way rotaries sound with some exhaust on them. I'd rock a RX-8 6-speed. Speed isn't everything but just slap a turbo onto it, you'll make power if thats what you want.

And because of that I would say standard piston engines have more going for them, but remember that the RX8 is working with a 1.3L too. Imagine a 2 or 3 liter
So, why didn't they go with an NA three-rotor renesis making about 320 hp instead of wussing out with an underpowered 2 rotor?

IMO its because the 13B is world wide, its rare to see a 20B over here. Plus when updating, its easier to update a little bit than it is alot, for example, easier to make a nice brand new 2 rotor than a 3 rotor for total costs and etc. Also, it doesnt need any more power to please the masses, just us car people.

Just my hypothesis. 3 rotors = more to break as well. Again, I've never owned a rotary and only seen one here and there.
