Default nice car!

My brother Joe, has a 2002 Altima SE that he bought new. He loves that car. It has headers, and a complete full exhuast system, underdrive pulleys (I think), computer chip, short shifter, cold air intake, I believe it has tokico struts and lowering springs, and big wide 18's. The car was quick stock, but now it's damn fast...but still very driveable.
He hasn't had it at the track, but he guesses its well into the 13's. One of his best friends owns a Mitsubishi EVO, and on every occasion the Altima has come out on top.
If you are thinking about getting one, it's a good choice. My brother does say the black paint is thin and sucks. So stay away from a black one. I had a black Nissan truck, and I can agree.

I'd buy one if I could find one for a decent price with low miles. No problems that I've seen or heard of from them. Buy it, badass looking car and quick for a big four door.

Do you guys think it is better than a 2002 VW Passat, I have it narrowed down to those two, and i personally think price wise its a better deal, all the same shit for a lower price... plus the altimas r faster than the 1.8t.

Fast forward: is that ur brothers altima in that pic? very clean. I was actually looking forward to getting black LOL o well, we'll see.

Great motor in a 'decent' package. I drove a 2002 SE and everything besides the motor was less than impressive. Interior sucked, shifter sucked, torque steer was just uncalled for. Too much $$$ for what you get..........

Black will look nice but yes Nissan paint is crappy. My mom has a black maxima, the front bumper chips like crazy if you do highway driving. Go with a 3M clear front bra if you get black, trust me.

Are you racing it or daily driver? For a daily driver they are awesome, enough get up to get it out of it's own way but no speed demon. Comfortable , great options. If your serious go see Dave (the MGR) at crown Nissan on us19 in St pete. Tell him Andy referred you, he's a good guy!
