My friend just got his car runnin right after a&r bridgeported his car.he has a 2g rx.I dont know how or what type of port he got.I'm givin him 14's if he gets traction.Oh i almost forgot he's still runnin fuel injection.

 

Why are you giving him 14s with a PORT job when guys here has ran 14s with a stock port 13b .. I ran 15.3 with just bolt ons on a first gen..

Who ported and rebuilt the engine?

 

A&R AUTO rebuilt and ported the engine.i really dont know what ported 2g's can do at the track.My other friend ran a 15 flaton a non-ported 13b but he had to leave the line at 7000 rpm.Then the same nite i see a modded turbo II run 14.2.they dyno'd the turbo II with the same mods at nopi and he had 202hp &170lbs of tq.I think times in a rotary really matter on the skill of the driver.

Its a&r auto on waters.They prob have the quickest rotary powered drag cars in the tampa area.he said he's goin to the tr event to run a "streetable" startlet.

 

Most of us dont call it by that shops name.. we know the the engine builder named Pito.. he runs a orange Starlet.. he has also worked on El Limon.. Rotary powered Starlet.. with a MP3 front end.. He has also worked on some of my friends cars..he got my freinds first gen *83 with OEM drive train/12A running 12s/13 n/a last time I saw it run.. he was also the builder of my friends engine when my friend had the car "La Yuca" rotary powered *13b with spray running 9s..

Pito has had his hand in most of the rotary powered cars you see running @ Lakeland that is from Tampa,but there are also other engine builders to look out for "El Gordo" 70 Datsun 1200 13B/9s

Theres a car that is just hitting the tracks im not sure if hes in the tuning stage or what ..its a 13B powered 76 Dodge Colt I think hes running in Pro class.. this bitch is 3/4 chassis.. I think `12point cage.. shortned Ford 9. brake swap in front and rear.. this car is mean ..right now its green and pink.. so look out for this one.. These guys have a shop by mine and we talk about set ups.. and so I take what I can on advice that will be cheap but effective for my needs..

 

Man ive been friends with him like 2 years i know what he drives,he's built all my rotary friends engines also.So i guess nobody has any guesses on his times.

No one can sit there and really give you times on an engine we dont know about..

I can say 18 secs.... Why? Its not just what the engine is capable of.. Its also in the driver...

Just tell him to run it..and then tell us what he ran..
