you need to use higher temp paint.. correct me if im wrong but brakes get close if not over that temp.

for my rear drums I just got all the rust off with a wirebrush on my drill, cleaned it up, sprayed paint... worked well... even though you can't see shit behind welds.

OK...now you're picking on me....again. you should be more sensitive to those of us with braking anomalies. some of us hate dirty looking shit. the OEM silver shows dirt easily. my painted ones hide the dirt bettrer and are easier to clean. and you know how I am about clean.

plus you can feel more manly when you look at mine and know yours aren't painted. when you get old you too will do shit deemed to be dumb. so there's something to look forward to, eh?

Well, in my case the rear drums were just pure rust so I had to... for some reason I felt the need to explain myself to you, not really sure why.
