I am very suprised that this sort of thing hasn't happened before. You have to realized, though, that the entire car isn't run on an OS based computer. I doubt that there will ever be an ECU, traction control, or airbag system run out side of firmware (that's like a hardware operating system).

(puts on Nostrodamus hat) One day someone is going to hack OnStar and have a field day with the remote unlocking feature.

+1/2 for F Bank of Embarassment ATMs. I loved the old NCR atms that they had 4 years ago. It would react as fast as I could, so I could mash the buttons in rapid fire mode. I could get my $20 out in less than 20 seconds. Now at some of them, they try to retrieve settings and all sorts of BS (I think these are the MS ones). The last thing I want to see when I'm in a hurry and there's a line behind me is a friggin hour glass!

Just adds another reason why none of my vehicles use a computer to control the engine in any way. I'll make sure to honk and wave at all the poor bastards with virus'd up Lexus cars while I zoom by on any one of my carbureted vehicles.

Oh, chalk me up for Bank of America too. I closed all of my accounts and my credit card with them. They really are assholes.
