The cars I never had a/c on simply didn't have it there when I got it. I'm not going to go through all the trouble of finding all the brackets and shit for it, finding a good compressor, charging the system and all that just to say "i have a/c" when I never use the shit in any of the cars that I DO have it in.

When I street raced, my mustang didn't have anything that wasn't absolutely necessary. Reasons were two fold, 1. making it easier to work on, 2. yes, saving weight. On a lot of cars that are actually fast, A/C causes cooling problems anyway, so why have it? Now, stripping a bone stock car of all it's accessories to run a 15.50 instead of a 16.0 is retarded, but there comes a point where things like that just get in the way, both physically, and by slowing you down with weight. Ron, your car would look silly all stripped and gutted and then having air Just tell everyone to fuck off, we all know it's a race car
