Who has removed their A/C in their cars?
I'm tired of people thinking removing A/c is just for weight reduction or going faster. The only reason i removed mine was lack of space with the turbo i deciced to run. When i did have it i ran into overheating problems in the summer even with a bigger radiator. Do people actually remove them for weight? Because i can think of alot more effective ways to get rid of weight then giving up a/c.

I totally agree with you... AC is one of few things that make a car feel like a CAR and not a gokart. I dont see how people like driving around in gutted out cars, no radio, no AC, etc.. and still have a slow car. An impressive fast car to me has the essentials; radio, CARPET, AC, comfterable seats. I am just a picky s.o.b. though.
Well if it is my "race car" and not my daily driver, why even bother with having to wire ac, or having the ducts, or having the weight or drag on the engine or the extra thing under the hood that makes it harder for my hands to get in there.
I'm going to remove it on my race car (once I get another daily) just to simpifly the car.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
i didnt have it in my crx and i HATED IT. in florida for a daily A/C is ESSENTIAL!!! it absolutely sucks having to get into a hot car after a long days work outside sweating and not be able to have cool A/C. im sooo glad i have it now.
