why the hell would I need to research traction control?

I am speaking from expirience since I OWN an RSX-S with roughly 200whp AND an LSD...and I can tell you that 1st gear is pointless in my particular setup, even with Potenza RE040's and the Falken Azeni's on my stock wheels. It spins around 6k on cold pavement and spins on the track as well. I could imagine how bad it would be if I didnt have the LSD.

So...unless you own an RSX and know how it responds to increased torque and hp then I believe YOU need to research. Better yet, go drive a 350whp RSX WITH an LSD and tell me it doesnt have traction issues.

My race vehicle pulls consistant 1.15-1.16 60' and you're telling ME I need to research traction control?

 

Well, I'm not saying there won't be any traction problems, but there are quite a few Cybernation Stage 2 Type S' on www.clubrsx.com and they seem to be doing fine. Of course on the track, most of them use slicks. And you can always turn down the boost for the street.

 

all the vids I have seen, and the 3 Cybernation Stage 1, and even 1 Greddy Turbocharged i have seen in person have spun once fully spooled in 1st on the street, and on the track.

None of those cars had slicks though, Most people wont wanna swap out the brakes on their Type S' to Base model brakes so they can fit a smaller wheel on there unless they're die hard on gettin that good slip posted on clubrsx

 

dude,most cars PERIOD spin 1st gear with a turbo,nitrous,supercharger or whatever,usually doesnt metter ...you can get ANY car to hook..its about the driver

Just because you have a "claimed" race car DOES NOT mean you know anything about traction and/or anything else having to due with cars...not trying to put you down or anything but you seem to act liek you know alot and have been getting corrected a few times but the people that actually do know....

Haha. I would have to go down to around 6psi to make 350 in my Street honda bro. On street tires, my car is trapping 141. Its called boost by gear. First gear 10psi, 2nd gear 18 psi, 3rd gear 24psi, 4th gear 30psi. Boost by gear, traction control, what ever you want to call it. And potenza's, azenis'....LOL. Those tires suck at the track. The azenis tires are road race tires that shouldn't see the drag strip. That is why you spin like crap. Not cause your mad trq y0. Get a better suspension setup and an AVCR and watch your mad spin decrease.

I DO NOT use my rsx for a drag car, its a daily driver that have spent a little extra cash on to have a little fun on a road course if need be, I took it to the track once to see what it would do and that was the end of it. I have no intentions on turning this car into a drag car...I have a purpose built car for that.

2. Boost by gear? or "gear specific boost" I seriously hope you werent trying to teach me about shit I learned with imports years ago? I suppose your gonna tell me what VHT is next right? save yourself "bro" I already know.

4. AVCR ? WTF would I need that for? You're right I need Gear specific boost, or RPM-based boost, or scramble boost on my f!@#ing NA car
