C'mon g50, you gonna make me say it? Ok. No doubt about it, Porsche is an awsome track car. BMW too. Hell, I'll even throw in the Z06 as a great tracker.

But I'm keeping me Viper 'cause it whoops all their asses.

second, chuck is the only one making sence here, since he is probably the only person on this site who brings his car to seabring to race on a regular basis. almost every time you go to the track you see the NSX.

third, the NSX has won numerous titles. it has beat both the ford mustang, and porsche in title events. i challenge all of you who knock the NSX to do some real research on the car and its history before you rag on it anymore. i think you all would be surprized at this cars history and how many races it has won.

fourth, saying this car is POS is almost like saying a porsche is a POS. a viper, ZO6 can whip both cars in the 1/4 mile. yet the NSX and porsche cost more. its a collectable car, its an investment. it may get outperformed by cheaper cars, but that doesnt make it a POS. the NSX was not designed to be a drag car. there are plenty of cars that cost more than a z06 or viper, and have less power, i dont see you guys ragging on those cars.

last, i wouldnt buy one for my kid. my kid's first car will be something very slow, like my car
I did alot or research before buying my X. The bottom line-good looks, good performance and it does'nt break. I drive mine hard, and she has never let me down.

As for the price. I paid $48K for a 23K mile 1996 pristine Targa car in 2002. Compare others, look at the depreciation opposed to the miles and age of the car. I could have bought a Vette or a Porsche, but you see those all day long and the depreciation sucks!

The X turns peoples heads. Especially going by them at 9K rpm's.

I thought the redline for the nsx is 8K - 7500 if you have the 3.0

personally I think your NSX is fucking pure sex. Clean, turbo'd, beautiful.... like I said, pure sex. You know about how much your putting to the wheels? and what your E.T. is?

How are your wilwoods holding up? I just got some wilwood rotors and now have heard that some of the track guys have had issues with them warping - I haven't had them on Sebring yes - but have run out of brakes there the past few times out.

Since I'm a dealer for Wilwood they send me their lastest to try out. I installed the new Slimeline 6 piston with 14" rotors on a customers NSX. We took it up to 120 on the Bayside numerous times and tried to get them to fade, but had no luck. These seem to be better than the previous. I can feel the brake pedal pulsating on the old design-this means warped rotors.

I like the Wilwood design. Simple, yet effective. They are working out the issues. Wilwood listens to their customers and respond to their needs. Good people over there.
