Are you tired of getting exhaust tickets?

I spoke to FHP in Tallahassee today after they got my letter/e-mail. He said that now they are enforcing a 2 point penalty if you just pay the ticket. You can either get the ticket fixed or take it to court. If you just pay the ticket, apparently now they are still enforcing 2 points on your license even though it's a non-moving violation. Just thought I'd let everyone know. This is BS!

Don't listen to everything you read on here and think it is the truth.

The truth is that ANY modification from stock that makes it louder can be written. Decibel meter? I have never seen a cop with one.

Have you ever read the statute on radios? 100 ft is the general rule and it is discretionary when near schools, churches or hospitals (basically you shouldn't hear it outside the car). No decibel meter needed there either.

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.

I can't find this anywhere. Do you have a more reliable source? I don't believe what cops tell me about the law...

Call the county clerk of the court and ask them to look on the schedule "C".

It's time to write your legislators. Let htem know that the statute section 316.293(5) B is completely unfair to car enthusiasts.

How many people actually want to make a difference?
What really pisses me off is the guys in the Harleys that never get pulled over. My ears bleed every time one gets on it.

That will be pretty pointless. Then the whole point system will be out the window soon enough then.

Ah, nothing says "American" like Nagoya.

Where do these fall in terms of domestic/import:

Mitsubishi Eclipse
Eagle Talon
Plymouth Laser
BMW Z3
Mercedes ML Class
Chrysler Crossfire
Dodge Colt

I guess I just always assumed that a car made by a japanese company, in japan, and literally imported here, couldnt be a domestic just because chrysler designed the body.
