I don't care if I get a ticket as long as they make sure they give assholes on bikes and assholes in domestics tickets too.
No way, that's how domestics even out. Sure, we get way worse gas mileage, but after a few exhaust tickets, your car costs the same

So write a letter saying it needs to be enforced equally. Duh! I think it should be measured in decibels, personally.

I thought that was how it was done? They put the car in neutral, have the rev's rased to like 1750rpm or something like that and it cant be over 90db from 15 feet away or some shit like that. I'll look into it more.

No, they simply LOOK at it. If it isn't stock it's illegal. If that was the case my exhaust would be legal especially with the silencer.

WTF are you driving?

You know, without quoting your other post, if they just look at the exhaust, maybe that's why I get over. My exhaust looks like stock 1967 exhaust. I mean, other than the headers, what was really underneath a '67 Camaro but a couple of mufflers?

I heard somewhere on here for it to stand up in court they have to do that. You happen to have anything to back up your statements? I'll do some research when I get off of work. And it has to be under whatever db at the time of test, you can't go "oh wait let me put my silencer in officer"

Same here, the exhaust on my galant was just a 2.5" pipe coming out the back and you couldn't see the magnaflow muffler.
