they are the gayest sounding things on the road. Whats worse is how they HAVE to rev at lights(rice), rev whenever a crowd is around(rice) and get on it when they see a girl (rice). i have been behind those damn HD bikes for miles and then as soon as they get to a populated location(hot spot) all of a sudden they flex, rev and drive as if their bikes are fast. Sounds to me that some HD drivers are as ricey as they come. but of course not all of them

 

I'm not sure if what the cop in Tallahassee told me is true or not. I am putting a stock exhaust on my car and getting a fix-it ticket. I'll pay $3 and be done. Hopefully. If not, and the points are in fact enforced, I will have to take it to court.

So I guess you think by writing letters and getting the law to be enforced equally is going to draw less attension to imports with illegal exhaust? It's hard to prove profiling or discrimination when your doing something illegal.

Exactly why I didn't write a letter. I know that open drags on my bikes are illegal. I also know that hooker long tubes and dynomax superturbos are illegal. If I get a ticket, it's my fault.

 

I can't tell you how many friends of mine got tickets in mustangs for having turn downs. The cops don't care where the car was made, they do however seem to like what is popular with the kids at the time. Keep telling yourself it's because you drive an import. Do you think you'd get some sort of leniency if you were in a neon?

Listen dude, you'd be pissed off too if some loud Honda with a fake muffler caused the cop to take notice to you. Hahahaha. All I am saying is that, loud bikes bother me, yes. They are much louder than my car and they are still driving on the road like nothing they have is illegal. It bothers me very much so.

I am concerned enough to drive with a silencer now and NOT DISTURB THE PEACE which is the whole point of the law apparently. If that is the point of the law, then enforce it to everyone, especially those who are way over the top with noise. It will benefit me if they start writing domestics and bikers tickets because they are louder than me to begin with. It's just being fair, dude. That's it. If I'm "disturbing the peace", then they most certainly are as well.

I do disagree with the law. I think it should be measured in decibels. Some stock exhausts are as loud or louder than mine. That's my point. I will try to change this.
