They already had to recall like all of them, and I think the stopped production on them too.

I think it's a cool entry level performance car that is likely very upgradeable from the factory with that supercharger.

Oh boy! Where do I start? Ok, just like the SRT the hp was a lil under rated. The ION Red Line has been dynoed (sp) by about 4 or 5 people already and they have been doin between 200 to 205 hp at the wheel. They best time I've heard in stock form is 14.7 don't know speed. Also, some of you guys aren't sure how strong this engine (not motor ) is? WOW! GM's ECOTEC engine is fuggin one strong engine (not motor). Do any of you watch sport compact drag racing? ECOTEC powered cars are dominating and breaking records like crazy! The Saturn Motorsports Saturn ION Quad Coupe driven by Lisa Kubo was the first Pro FWD car to hit the 7's. Now, the Cavalier drivin by Nelson Hoyos has broken that and holds the current record of 7.59.

Oh yeah, yes they did replace the fuel feed line on some of the first ones (not a recall) and yes they are still building them

The ION Red Line and the new Chevy Cobalt SS are the same car basicly. The ION and the Cobalt are based on GM's Delta Platform.
