Damn, I post an acronym joke and it turns into a circle track pissing match.

Well, as long as I am stoking the fires with a few jokes here is another joke/quote.

If I wanted to watch a bunch of cars go around in a circle I would put a bunch of hotwheel cars in the toilet and flush.
Before anyone accuses me of having no respect for the sport of turning left very quickly here is a little photographic proof of my involvement in the sport from back before when most of you guys had graduated kindergarden.

still, driving well on the road and pushing a car to its limits at triple digit speed are TOTALLY different. sliding a car around at 30mph in a parking lot isn't nerve racking... going around a curve at 100+ with concrete wall just 15 yards off the track waiting for you if you make a mistake, that's nerve racking.

Sounds like a great time. I noticed there are no Vipers or Vettes entered in AI and I couldn't find class specs on the site. Is AI rules just Fbodies and Mustangs?

circle track racing is great because you have closer racing. I like road course myself but you don't get anywhere near the other car as you do in circle track. aww they don't want to mess up their aerodynamic package hahah their carbon fiber lip or wahtever. That is the only disadvantage of road couse racing but I love it all. and I have raced oval racing for 4 years now almost every other day I have been in the seat and I just bought a shifter kart and took 3rd in a big race in indiana and going to race at daytona this year.

It is just like earnhardt and jeff gordon tony stewart also both raced road course sebring races. They did very well and it is just the feel of the car. You have the feel and know how to drive your lines then you'll be good at anything.

and yea.. that drifting stuff like he said. That is just said he was the best in whoever it was. It is a feel again that is all it is. and I am not saying it is easy you just got to have the feel

AI is intended for any American car as long as it meets a 9.5/1 power to weight rule. AIX is the unlimited class, anything short of a tube frame goes. Check out www.nasaproracing.com for rules and classes. They have a spec Miata class that is pretty popular too.
