Throw a $3k turbo kit on your Honda, maybe you'll get lucky and break into the 14's.
Yeah, a stock turbo car is capable of being as fast as a non turbo grocery getter for the same amount of money. Suuuuure.

to me it doesn't seem like TB spyder was in it to make his car fast. also, how do you know how many girls he does or doesn't get. another thing, you say that his car would be a piece of shit in any male's eyes, yes thats that one, that's why everyone who has money to spend on their car spends it for performance. some people like looks over performance, to each their own. and last time I checked, when srt4's first came out a lot of ppl said they were pieces of shit....so maybe you have a car that's a pos in a lot of people's eyes too? hooray

I completley agree on my car being a piece of shit though. I'm just too lazy to go through the trouble of getting something else...soon perhaps. No payments and low insurance is nice however. I know several DSM's over 75k miles with nothing more than normal wear and tear and maintenence (mine has 70k and nothing out of the ordinary yet), besides the point of that having nothing to do with the original argument that a honda can hit 12's as easily as a DSM. Can't wait to see how your $20k, 215+hp neon is holding up after 75k miles.

DSM's are cool and all, but they are not cheap to make fast reliably like everyone seems to think.
Anyway it goes, no matter what car you represent...intake, exhaust, and $20 in parts at home depot will make a DSM in the 13s right or wrong? Intake, exhaust, and $20 in parts at home depot will get a stock civic/integra where? I think thats the point he was trying to make.
A stock turbo car already has the turbo/manifold/intercooler(most of the time) and most importantly the engine setup for boost.

I never said you couldnt get a dsm into 13's cheaply, i said u cant get a dsm to reliably run 12's w/out alot of work/money.
