You're prolly gonna say your dsm with afew mods will run 12's, while those same mods will get a honda in 12's too so dont go there
where are these parts?

I was mostly referring to 2g's, but I can comment on the 1g's too. The 14b is an ok turbo, but its not as easy as you say it is to ge ta 14b into the 12's, let alone have the turbo last awhile. If it was, every damn 1g dsm I would see on the road would run 12's.

Then most dsm's in the 12's have a FMIC and a 3" turbo back with larger injectors and a maf mod sometimes. Then they need an afc for the larger injectors. And dont forget that the FMIC comes with alot of new piping. The only things the honda wont have (if its a 92-95) with those mods is a BOV and a 3100lbs chassis.

Not true, most of the 1Gs anywhere are N/A. The turbo wouldnt last too long but that doesnt mean you ant get a 12 in before it goes. Also a civic would need MUCh more $$$$ to get all that. Turbo > N/A. For one night you could turn up the boost all you want and be okay.

You're right, but who the hell said anything about my car? The post referred to a "DSM," as in the 4g63t platform. No where did I say my car was a DSM or even fast for that matter. My car has nothing to do with the subject.

Your car provided soem good comic relief

Also I forgot to mention the honda would still need a turbo manifold.

Yeah, atleast I don't have to say I own an 11 year old Honda though.

Throw a $3k turbo kit on your Honda, maybe you'll get lucky and break into the 14's. Yeah, a stock turbo car is capable of being as fast as a non turbo grocery getter for the same amount of money. Suuuuure.
