I am 21 and have always played with cars, since 8.

 

i was helping the guy who lived up the street working on his dragsters.this was like 1989 or so i was only 6 and i never looked back since then.and i couldn't read for shit when i was younger and i picked up a hot rod mag.and bam next thing i new i could read..as long as it had something to do with cars..lol

 

10 Years ago i was 15, and just before i hit 16, i already bought my 88 Mustang...pissed me off cause i could only drive it with my Brother or my mom...o well.

 

Well, ten years ago I was thirteen, but it was around then when my grandma and granpa gave me and my cousin a shit load of model cars. I got into building them, so the first car I ever built, would be a 1970 Boss 302 Mustang. They don't make cool model cars like they used to. My first real car, was a 1985 chevy s-10 with a 1.9L 4 cylinder that went 0-60 in five days... no power anything, 4-spd standard, and had no air from the factory. I put some rims on it, dropped it a bit, put a system in it and fixed it up nice. It wasn't until about 2 1/2 years ago though that I really got into the performance aspect of cars.

 

10 years ago this was my car....


got it to run 12.60 with the 305 still in it. on radials(back before there were drag radials) build a 350 for it got it faster, broke lots of shit along the way. it was all in fun...not really into it anymore.

 

Damn, you must of been spraying or that thing was worked!
