Wrong - probably one of the most structrally rigid cars on the road. Check out the door sills. just one of the reasons it corners so well - rigid platform...

Now - if you hit a gravel truck with one head on - you'll probably be toast - but you'll be toast anyway.

thats what i'm talking about......I do personally do not want to get rear ended, T boned or any major accident! I wasn't really talking about the car around curves or acceleration.....nothing like that just a definitely death trap! I know someone thats getting one and he even knows it will be no fun ride in an accident.

though for me, you'd have to change it to 10 inches, and you'd have to change inches to millimeters, and you'd have to change 10 to 5 and you'd have to change dick to poor excuse for one.

It's not for sale. It's just one of the demo cars that was at the LA show.

EXTREMELY underpowered. A better engine choice would have been an Cadillac CTS V6 or an LS1. A sports car really should have 200+ horsepower and torque. It is a sharp looking car though.

Dimmit also has (3) Murcialgo's there too. Not sure how to spell that either.

What the hell are you talking about?!?!
The car has a curb weight of less then 2,000 lbs. It doesn't need a larger engine to scoot about, it does it fine with an inline-four. It's sub five second 0-60mph attests to this. Then there's also the issue of balance/weight distribution. An LS1...come on man. This car was made for road courses not drag racing.

I don't see have you can go as far as saying it's 'extremely' underpowered?

The US Spec is 1,975 lbs with 187hp.

Most accepted calculations bring the ET to 106.6xmph. It's a bit more difficult to estimate 1/4 mile times due to all the variables but depending on the formula the calculations come out between 12.780 and 13.567. I'm not really sure how Elise came up with the 12.1 1/4 mile estimated time but who knows.

I agree that almost anything could use more power but I really don't think the car is extremely underpowered.
