while on my way to work one day i noticed what reminded me of a lmborghini. i asked my dad what it was and he named a few and i looked on the web..and needless to say i fell in love. i asked around to a bunch of TR friends and some others and nobody really has heard of this car...only a few have. not even my boyfriend (who now has an intrest in them) but i was just wondering what everyone thought on this gorgeous car....discuss:

I like the older ones better, which kinda suprises me. This is probably the first time I've seen the name DeTomaso in 15 years. On second thought I like the gray one, but something just doesn't look right on the red one. The rollcage maybe?

 

ive always liked the panteras. a beautiful car way ahead of its time imho. that new pic of the de tomaso..is it a production car or concept? kind of reminds me of a ferrari 355spyder.

My dad had a 73 when I was a little kid. I will never forget sitting on the console between my parents as we drove through the ocala forest at 130 MPH when I was only 7.

I think those early memories of being exposed to that powerful mid engined car is what contributed to my 930 addiction.

I meet a guy down the street from my house that has one. He has over 100k wrapped up into it, its about one of the sickest cars i have ever seen in my life.

 

my buddy has a red one... that rarely ever sees the street...

hell, his testarossa sees the street more. if you live in land o lakes, keep an eye out... im sure hes ready to take the pantera out soon...

 

They are indeed classics of a by gone era. Sweet to see one on the road, as opposed to just in the garage.
