i was at this pantera site and they were listed right up there with corvettes, lamborghinis,farraris, and all those fast exsensive cars..which yes, panteras are VERY exspensive!!!! i saw this GORGEOUS black one for almost 1 million dollars!! dont remember where though....but damn!

 

They were nice cars for the price too bad Ford tried to sell them at the Lincoln dealers other wise maybe more would have been made.

 

I think its possible to to find a good one for less than $50K.

 

Beautiful cars...if I could afford it, I'd buy one and drive it all the time. Why waste it away in a garage? If you can afford the car, find a way to afford the maintenance! (:

I read on one of those sites that someone found one for like $30k from another Pantera club member.

I love the look of the old ones...new ones don't do anything for me.

 

Too bad you cant find them for $10k anymore

 

there was one at european performance the other day, my buddy's dad was working on it.....god it was a piece....but the 351 sounded good

the axles are cool.....pop the hatch/trunk on one somtime....the motor is just sittin there right behind the thin piece of glass from the cabin....pretty cool

not worth the money/work to keep it running tho

 

Just or the record, the first pic in this thread by the thread's author is NOT a DeTomaso Pantera, despite the title of this thread. Instead, that is a late 60's Detamaso Mangusta.

At any rate, the Panteras are dope. I saw the nicest one in my life th other day here in Cincinnati

 

well if that is a mangusta then i dont feel too bad considering the # of ppl who viewed it didnt notice the diff either. and a mangusta is also a nice lil car.....
