You say you got a qoute of $1900 for the engine installation...which means you already know it can be done, so why'd you make the post to ask?
The smartest thing to do if you want more power would be to just go with something like a stage 3 hahn kit on your 420a. It'll cost less in the long run and you'll be making more power.

In Port Richey, there is a kid with a 97ish Neon, Soposedly 450 + HP.. looks like shit, but he can never find a dyno slip.... you can build a neon,check out www.neons.org.

Late 2004 you should be able to buy an SRT motor From Dodge's Parts Cat... is what i was told when i was Looking for an SRT motor for my 95 Neon... Motor Mounts will need to be added for the swap... the dodge Stratus has a 2.4 and a 2.7 Magnum... the 2.4 is pretty easy to do .. and the best thing to do is .. get a 2.4 and a Turbo..

I know its a 2.5L but its bored out blah blah blah. Its fast from what i have seen of it, but it does look like a piece for sure
