I have always wanted a car that could yank the tires solidly off the ground. Have told many people I would take a car that runs 17's in the 1/4 if it could only yank the tires.
Right before I started my swap I could get the front tires up for a second or two.
i envy FWD cars..if they are manual, they can usually always lift the front tires...well...i guess if hopping counts, they can..

yes it hurts but if gear ratio is tight and in sink not as much damage.........mann tranny take less HP to turn but auto is more consitant

Mopar STAGE1 SRTs have powershift full boost hold feature.
Basically the PCM will hold full boost for you as long as the throttle is fully floored.
This buys you some power, and et. I have done it quite a few times. Just dont make it a habit.
