Powershifting...
a 1/2 second+ to shift!?!?!
why dont you just shift as fast as ya can...or buy an automatic and get a shift kit...
auto w/ shift kit will shift as fast or faster than ANY manual tranny, without the possible misshift
regarding powershifting, it does actually make the 1/4 times quicker...just ask N20D5OH, as far as i know, he has the fastest stock time in a Mach1 to date.

I never shif befor the rpms start going down or atlist im trying o catch that point where the rpms are in about to go back i duno the stick driving is not easy to master. My dad is very good at it.
when he drives u wont feel the car shaking between shifting even when he shift down he ll go from 5th to 3th and u wont even know that he shifted downor he ll shif that 7000 rpm from 1st to 2nd gear and u wont fell that he shif it feels like he drives automatic even autos wont shif that smoot.I ll never be able to drive like him but he has too much experiance he was he has been driving since he was 18 and now he is 44 and he also was truck driver 8 years and now he does pizza delivery he prolly has about 700 000 miles experiance if not more and i have about 20 000 and im 21.i duno maybe i ll be as good as him some day.

Not true either. There are manual trannies out there that will hand an automatic its ass.

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.

I never powershift...atleast while running nitrous. My tranny has a ton of low 11-10sec passes and is bone stock. People break T56s all the time and wrongfully blame the tranny for being too weak. Well they almost never break rotating parts...its alwasy shift linkage due to aggressive shifting.
I am probably going to get my 1-2 shift Proshifted . The 2-3 shift is smooth as butter. That alone would probably buy me .2 tenths at the track.

every automatic ive ever been in, from v8 autos, to 4 banger autos, they all feel slow as shit compared to me shifting my T-56. i dont powershift, never have, but i can break 255/16 tires loose goin into third on a stock 96 LT1. ive even broke the nittos loose goin into third, but only when they are cold.when hot those things grip like superglue!!!
