We're actually seriously considering the RX8 to replace our RSX that my wife currently drives. I was looking for some feedback from existing owners on this vehicle with performance aspects aside. The below invoice pricing I can take advantage of through a discount program at my place of employment is making this car very attrative to us. Our original choice of a WRX wagon or a Forester XT still has the advantage in regards to cargo space but the RX8 really has the edge on the styling/bling.

The V8 only comes in an automatic, and retails at ~40,000 bucks. The only reason the LS is included in the list is because you can pickup a BASE v6 model for ~31k.

Isn't the warrenty something like 5/50k? The resale value on many cars these days is crap with very few exceptions. This is why I would never pay sticker on a car and why I always dispose of my car via a private party sale.

But they were in the 40's new...

Hell, a late 80's Civic Si will still run you 3000 bucks, and that was ~10 new.
