what do you guys think a 6 speed RX-8 a good buy or a waste?

 

Being a die hard rotary fan that I am I'm gonna say yes. But for that amount of money there are alot of other options out the that are better in some areas ( 350z,STi,EvoVIII,g35....so on and so on) Also remember the aftermarket world is gonna embrace this car with wide open arms!

 

i dunno....i thought they were kinda cool, then mazda decided to have the option to buy back your wankel b/c the horsepower was grossly overestimated. so instead of the whatever hp car you think it is, it's actually something like 170hp....

 

Waste.

Expensive and under powered. Not to mention it is as ugly as mud.

 

Drive it in anger. Then you'll see.

 

I think they're butt fugly...but that's a purely subjective opinion.

 

put it this way ive beaten one in my ghetto chopper. the guy said he took it off the lot less that an hour from when we raced. im gonna give it the benefit of the doubt it takes some getting used to. but getting beat by a car that is 13 years old and has about 200K+ miles on the chassis its a no no. car is way to slow for its price and looks. i thought id never say this but this rotary get a thumbs down
