Yup im a total loser, at least in my eyes, and I dont have a car yet...but only because of strict parents! Anyhoo, What would ya'll recommend for my first car? I want something sporty personally but it has to be relatively cheap(under 25k) cuz my parents are gonna buy it. lucky me Oh and I have no clue how to drive manual..but im willing to learn if i get the right car.

Just get something that runs and has AC and you will be more than happy with it, and then your parents might get you something nicer in a few years. My parents bestowed upon me a 1996 Ford Explorer which I thought I'd hate but I still drive because it turns out that I love it.

1976 Chrysler Cordoba. it's got a v-8, it's a two-door, gets shitty gas mileage, and it's so heavy that you can break the rear end loose around corners at 15 mph.

I agree. In general, Japanese cars are the most reliable, but I've had great luck with my Explorer. 146,xxx Miles and I've never had a single problem and it's still beautiful and in top shape. Only thing I don't recommend for a brand new driver is an SUV any bigger than a Rav4 or Escape or something just because of the sheer size and weight of them. My explorer has some sort of hatred towards stopping quickly.

here's the emblem off my old '76 Cordoba, just so you know what to look for.

Sporty? Like Celica/RSX sporty? Or what? Those are 2 cars I'd say are good for a girl's first car. I'd make sure I got the GT-S or type-S though.
