240z, 260z, 280zx are also hard to pass up in the "bang for the buck" category... heck you could even go imported/domestic and swap a V8 into one of those bodies...

i had a 92 grand marquis
with a saleen engine/tranny swap with 373 in the rear 400hp/400tq
it was stolen from me
now i have a 99 camry with 268 hp 275 tq
you can soup any car
i personally like 4 doors cause the bitches are sleepers and there's nothin better than kickin a 2 doors ass
but thats my opinion
