calm down carbed, Derek was just teasing with you. While C4's aren't as strong as powerglides, they can be built up to handle all the HP most of us will ever make. Carbed, hows about bringing the SVO out to a Sat meet so you can meet us and realize nobody is being hostile, just bench racing

The C4 is about a bad ass tranny. It can handle anything you can throw at it. I had a 3550 before my C4. No problems with the 3550, it just couldn't keep up with the C4 is all.Thanks, she's my daughter.

Didn't know you were road racing and my friend still has that 3550 for sale, probably would work good for you, short throw with a pro.50 shifter... really nice..
now I got to say, that i have gotten a best of a 1.35 60', trust me, that launch was anything but soft.
