The best way to go is to get the Lokar cable (summit or Jegs). It looks great and works awesome, really easy to set up also.

Otherwise you can go for an 85 gt cable, I have a new one if you want $10.

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.

Yep, Lokar is the way to go. Comes with it's own bracket and the whole 9 yards. Don't remember if you're auto or not but if so, they have a killer kickdown cable too.

I have a T-5 trans.
race495: Thats for the offer and I will keep you in mind.
I'm leaning towards Lokar but last time I called Summit, the guy looked for the cable for like 5 min then told me he had nothing for me! Not even in Lokar.
Is there a part #?
Maybe I should just call Lokar..

Not a problem. As soon as you break that, get a C4 and put in there and then you can get the kickdown...oops, no, just get a full manual valve body and a hammer shifter instead and you will be rocking.

Automatics are soft.
T-5's are soft too.
DrDirt your sister/daughter is hot.
3550 is what I'll get once the T-5 goes.

yep, they're soft.. give me a few months to get the motor back together and I'll line up against ya with my soft auto...

My friend's got a 3550 for sale, but it's out of a 94-95. he's got all of the appropriate parts (bellhousing, shifter, etc).. at a good price too..
