ok well today after like 4 ford dealers were called they finally got the Race and the Bearings.
Then we find out while attempting to put the drieshaft back, I need a new Universal.
greeeeat. ok so bought a new 14 dollar universal, no Zerk or grease fitting, yay!
Well here are pics of my 3.27's which are still good and in good shape, not screwed up or anything, the race and bearings were the only problem.
I am selling the 3.27's for 75 bucks. If u want or know anyone who wants them, let me know via pm or email.....
Like I said, the gears are good, no broken teeth or anything. here's my nasty chewed up bearings and my race, notice the smooth line in the race, then the center which is glazed over? lol

If those are the carrier bearings we are looking at for an 8.8, why did it take so long to find some to replace those. I have a stack of them at the shop and just about any auto parts store I call has them in stock and delivered in less than an hour.

i was told 50 miles at under 55mph...i did it and my gears r fine..so far everyone who has gears on this board has told u theres SOME kind of break in period..no offense, but u prolly rnt the most knowledgeable on this subject, its VERY easy to drive 50 miles...and itll only eat about 2 gallons of gas..so id say spend the $3 in gas and hour worth of drivin to save u another $350 for gears down the road cuz u wanted to be a know it all when it comes to a subject u dont know much about.

though for me, you'd have to change it to 10 inches, and you'd have to change inches to millimeters, and you'd have to change 10 to 5 and you'd have to change dick to poor excuse for one.

Joe those bearings are from the race inside the pumpkin, not exactly the carrier, carrier being the case holding the clutch pack. And the bearings shown are what let the pinion spin, and they say they arent sure its an 8.8 mustang rear, its definately an 8.8, but mustang? ehh they dont know, I dont either, they knew the bearings were bigger than the usual and thus the problems with all the stores and finding them.
