OK, I need some input here.

Once I put on the Novi 2000, I added a full Aeromotive sumped tank system on my 88LX. I ran the A1000 for about 3 years. It locked up on me in the August heat right after I installed the system, so in went a pump controller. That seemed to take care of everything for awhile, then it got to locking up on hot days again and then shorted out, taking the pump controller with it.

I removed both and now have a new Bosch 044 in place of the A1000. All is now well operationally, but my God is that pump loud. It is embarrassingly loud once it has been driven for a few miles.

What is a good pump for this application?

The system was installed perfect and all filters are regularly changed. There was no reason for that A1000 to fail. I am likely going to have it rebuilt.

I need somethang that will do the job and that I can live with.

i run the a1000 on my 351w turbo setup never had any issues.i say get it rebuilt

 

Do you run a controller or just the pump?

 

just the pump i was going to get the controller but never did
