Default tach hook up question.

Anyone have luck using factory tach with msd carb setup. Tried to hook it on negitive side of coil and tach port on my msd. Nthig my autometer tach works great. Tried two diffrent factory tachs. Any idea on how to make it work.

You may have fried the tach when you hooked it up to the coil with the msd installed. The instructions with the msd specifically tell you not to do that.
