when putting an Ex cluster into a Dx coupe.. the speedo is like 10mph. i told him to get it calibrated and it should fix that problem. im just double checking to see if i was right or if something needs to be done

 

dont really know what you are saying... "the speedo is like 10mph".... what do you mean.... 10mph off?

 

the speedometer is 10mph off... your going 20 but it'll be tellin you either 30mph or 10mph.. he jus said it was 10mph off..not to sure which way tho.

im pretty sure all the D-series VSS's are the same, and hence, all the D-series clusters will work properly. i had a B-series trans with a D-series cluster, and it was only off by 5 mph at 75, so you have another issue.

does he have non-OEM diameter tires? that would throw it off a lot....
