you know my v6 mustang has been doing the same thing lately lmk if you figure it out !

 

Well it appeared to be a bad sensor, i knew from the start the sensor (that reads quantity of coolant) wasn't working right, but i guess now it reads the temp all wrong, i grabbed an over thermometer and it read a steady 185.
