Default Budget build

I am looking to buy a 2nd car to drive to work since i put about 500 miles a week on my Mustang. I decided to stop by local Ford dealership and check out a used fusion, focus or something similar.

The sales man was talking to me about mustangs and one thing led to the other I drove the new automatic 3.7L V6 and the new manual 5.0 Gt. The V6 was pretty nice although was an auto; and the gt was awesome.

I am looking to get the 2nd car so that i can work on my car and fix her up. Lots of rock chips from the highway traffic and normal wear; plus i plan on doing normal performance upgrades.

The Gt made me think again on what i could do to my car. The new Mustangs are sick but a brand new car is out of my budget currently. I would like to plan on keeping the car forever, who knows if that will happen. But my plans are to make it a badass car. Either making it a V8 or keeping it a bad ass v6.

Id like to stay within a budget of 7-10k. It will probably change as I go but id like to set up a list on what do and what average prices will be.

Suspension, performance, styling, looks, lighting everything.

My Mustang is a 3.9 L manual v6. I did a dual exhaust with magna flows and i cut out the Y pipe and a CAI. Both are basic mods. I know there could be a list of stuff but I want a set up that will be the best.

For sound i have 1 solo barric L510 powered by a 1000wt 2 channel Kenwood excellon amp.

What your guy;s ideas?

You want a car you can drive right now thats still fun to drive and is dependable, so you can work out some kinks with your current stang? Not sure if your talking about keeping your current car forever or if your looking for a stang you can keep forever. Its tough to look at stuff like that cause life happens. If you want a car to mess around with alot on a budget I would say get a nice fox the 5.0s are great build motors and are pretty cheap to work on.

The stock market will crash again before gas hits $7 a gallon THEN it'll be $2.40 just like last time!

I want to buy a 2nd car so i can fix up my car and not put 500miles a week on it. once i get that car im going to garage my car. just seeing which set ups i should. Ill have about 7-10k that i can put aside. I dont have the money liquid right now but cars paid off so money can go right into it each week
