Okay so last week on my way to work I seen this mustang and as I pulled up next to it and I notticed that it had a nissan GTR emblem on the fender where the ford emblem should be and so far this week this is like the tenth one ive seen and all diff years. so what im asking is does anyone know why people are doin this???

 

Please tell me you don't think those are both mustangs.... The top one is a new Nissan GTR and the bottom one is a new Shelby GT500.

 

I know there tottaly diffrent cars. Read my post again, i said I notticed that it had a nissan GTR emblem on the fender i know the diff between a stang and a nissan GTR, lol

 

Cant be everyone,.. just the hoodlums in Brooksville I guess. In the 11 yrs I havent seen any around here and I have seen kids to some retarded things to their cars.

Cant be any worse than putting a 5.0 emblem up high on a fender above a Pony emblem. (shrug)

I would never put a japan made emblem on my american car! although i do realy like the nissan Gtr...
Also ive seen all the gtr emblems on stangs in tampa & clearwater.



Also Did the emblem thing realy need to be brought up???

I'm guessing that some people just don't know where the design was taken from. Most people just want to make their car unique in some way and you don't see these everyday. (Well, at least they don't think so.... )
I do remember seeing some dealers at NMRA selling them a few years ago, along with other Mustang emblems. I am not sure if they still do, but that could confuse some....

 

I think that phenomenon is the result of little Ricer Bois beginning to grow up. They have progressed to the point where they buy a real car but that portion of their brain that subscribes to the theory that Stickers = Power has not yet evolved to match their ride. Try to be patient with them. They are on the right track...but they are still going slow. Most will eventually arrive at adulthood and pUT away the stickers, atrocious body kits, slime green painted interiors, body kits, fart cans and other Ricer accoutrement. Sadly, some never will. But that is Nature's way of making the Domestic Gene Pool stronger.

 

A GT500 is not a mustang?
