Rear Wheel problem help
I cant win..
Weld Prostar on 15x8 with a 5.5bs 275/60 MT drag radial. Both tires scrub the lips.. SN95 rear with discs..
Whats the fix? car sits a little low because of the 4 cyl springs..
Lips are bent upwards.. what do you guys do to make them fit without narrowing rear or changing wheels.

I already have some modified sn-95 brackets if you want them Julio
Like Tiff stated, you have to change the axles. The SN axles are 3/4" longer than Fox, housings are the same.

94 - 98 Axle housing and fox housing are the same width. How ever the 94 - 98 axles add 3/4 inch to both sides to have room for the ABS exciter ring. Even if the car didnt come with ABS. Some 94/95 models didnt.
You need fox width axles to get 275 tires to fit. Good thing you didnt try with Centerline wheels. Their 15x8 wheels only go to 5" BS. Usually works with fox axles,.. but definitely wont with SN95 axles.
Do like John said or if Tommy has something for you check into it.
Either way your going to need fox width axles. The wheels and tire package you have wont work in a fox with SN95 axle. I used to have a big post on this subject and what tire sizes work in which cars and which axles to use.
Yukon makes some affordable 5 lug fox width 28 spline hardened axles that arent as expensive as Moser or Strange axles. The only other real alternative will be Ranger or Aerostar 7.5 axles. That is if your rear still has a 28 spline carrier in it?
Also,.. with fox width axles 275/60 tires will rub the quads if they havent been removed yet. And you will more than likely need to do the BFH mod to the inner fender well where the inner seem will rub the tire. Especially on lowered cars. 275/50's will fit a lot better on lowered cars. 275/60 are a tough squeeze but they can be made to fit. I have seen 315/35 17 tires fit back there as well.

At least i'm glad I didnt put a hammer to the fender lip

My in-experience identifying how to spot the differences in axles is where I have my problem. Be easier if it had stock oem equipment and I could see for example the ABS reluctor. This happens when you dont build something rather buy someones built project and have to deal with the curve to see what they did.
The slicks I had on these wheels where a 28x9 and they cleared. But I also was using the trick springs which move the ass end up on the car. The car now has the 4 cyl springs and its slammed down on the back. One thing tho is I did notice what appears to be a lot of clearance between the 275/60 and the inner fender well. So a shorter axle would def help to tuck in the tire. Thats why the caliper bracket is needed to move the calipers inward.
I'll see if I can get an appointment with Jon to get the car figured out.

For whatever its worth I had similar issues running the svo stock suspension with fox wheels. The svo axles are similar to the sn-95 in length. I'd think if you already have a built rear maybe a different rim would be a better answer.
The 2005+ wheels have better offsets for the wide front and rear end but am unsure of the space from the center to the outside lip of the rim. Being as you have issues front and back it's worth looking into.

Yeah but in order for him to fit a 275/60 tire on an 8" rim with SN95 axles he would need a 6" BS. That would be a ridiculous BS for that size rim.
