Question is where. It has a glass hood, no back seat, no ac, no console, etc..

Wheels are next.. guess it needs to loose the power doors?

I weigh 260 so that makes the car 3200 lbs. Is that normal for a hatch?

Still seems heavy to me. No a/c...was the heater box and ect deleted from under the dash? You'll probably drop 100#'s or better on the wheels
Edit: forgot your car is turbo...that added some weight back in it 100+lbs.

Also I know you're running a standalone, was the stock computer and harness removed from kick panel? How about front seats? stock?

No ac.. gutted the dash. Wheels should drop it some. I also typically race it with a full tank.. thats 7 lbs per gallon so 100 lbs of fuel in the car?

Maybe ditch the efi and go to a blow through to drop weight

I promise I wont go there anymore

A buddy of mine just bought a bank-bank FAST system for 800 bucks with the wiring harness and sensors. The bank to bank systems are selling dirt cheap.. and work really well.

The tuning is easy.. just takes a few hours to get the hang of it. Hell the hardest part is the drivability.. you can pay someone to dial that in for you. Then all you do is the WOT stuff yourself which is super easy.

Its all about how you direct the money on your project.. especially when its limited. On mine I try to wheel and deal every part.. Look at me not buying the Aerospace brakes.. keeping the stock stuff.. or not getting the paint and body done..

Being a baller and throwing down $$$ at shiney stuff is easy.. in the end when the engine comes apart.. an EFI setup keeps that from happening. And keeps you in the game.

Untitled

Went through the blow through stuff.. never ever will I run an engine blind again.

I do all my own tuning. And have learned from watching others and figuring stuff on my own. Just like you share and help.. there are those that dont mind lending a hand. Including myself.
