Yes the imports are getting quicker but look on how much R&D is involed to get a 4cyl to break into the 10's n/a or forced induction. I can't even think on how many domestics are in the 10's. Its just cheaper, easier, and u don't have to gut the piss out of the car to do it!

i too have a dislike for race related, after my car left there, it had shit stolen and the overall quality of the work wasnt to special...u can hate hondas all u want, i hate 98% of them, but u have to give a 10 sec ANYTHING props..thats faster then most shit on this board.

Hondas suck, take that CRX, put the interior and air conditioning back in it, take the gay ass wheelie bars off, put an exhaust that doesn't sound like a group of angry fuckin dragonflys attacking a tin roof, then I'll respect it for going 10's. Did I get lost or isn't this the Ford Forum? If I wanted to see pictures of imports I'd watch the Fast and the Furious. Show me a Honda around here that's streetable, has AC, and not a gut box that can run 10's. ..........NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Venom is right. You can run a shitload of power but, the front wheel drive cars won't hook up if they are not light. I've seen an eclipse put out 600rwhp, but since it was running with interior and a/c the best it could get was high 12's.

I believe that's the whole idea behind the "wheelie bars". To get the car to hook up. They aren't placed on a front wheel drive car for the same reason as a rear wheel drive car. I'm not too sure, but aren't the bars pre-loaded a little so there is pressure on the front wheels for traction? Like I said, I'm not too sure, but I believe that's how it works.

If its so easy to to make your cars run in the 10s then why are you only running mid 12's? I dont see why so of you guys cant respect a persons car for what it does and not just blow it away with comments because of its make.
Im friends with fast crx and I also own a Honda, but I also have friends that have Fords. I respect their cars because they make them faster. I wouldnt just kill them because they have a domestic.
And the comment about putting it back to stock with a/c....give me a break. I think someone is just mad because someone else has a faster car.

First off fucknuts if your talking about my 12 second car, it happens to be the one that my girl drives everyday with the fuckin air on 40 miles each way. And the last time I checked I owned a few cars that were faster than 10's. If you want to start running your mouth why don't you put your money where your mouth is riceboy. Oh wait my 99 only goes low 11's, thats if I shut it down at the 1000 ft mark and coast through the traps assclown.
