Cheap 10sec car.. hmmmm. Well I would think that you can build a 10sec v8 less expensively than a 10 sec 4 cyl ( by the nature of more displacement, etc). BUT, a CHEAPLY built 10 sec motor (ANY MOTOR) will soon enough be a pile of parts.

I think the number of people that truely realize what it takes to get ANY vehicle into the 10's knows that it is not an inexpensive process. I would also think that those who have made such a commitment are also taking into consideration the saftey requirements that go along with a 10 sec car.

If you've ever driven a low 10 second car (we're talking 10.1x-10.5x) you will note that it is anything but borring.

I can tell you right now that i've built my ride for under 15k and although I did it economically I didn't to it cheaply..

For those of you that know me know what my car is capable of and it should be a bit quicker the next time out.

This topic has gotten really old, why not lock it and someone post the results of the dyno pull that FastCrx makes when it happens.

Domestics owners should have learned by now that you can't argue with "import tuning enthusiasts"
