wont i need to reenforce my pistons with the vortech supercharger??

what he's saying is unless your going carb, there are better parts to buy for performance. You will not really see a gain just swapping to a Vr intake, or not enough for the money spent...hp / $$$

Supercharger Kits for the Ford F150 from HorsepowerFreaks

as long as you keep boost below at or below 8psi and get a good tune you should have no problems. Of course that depends on it you've kept your trucks motor in good condition.

well my truck has 140k on it right now and i dont abuse it, it runs like a charm except for that egr valve right now thats being a pain in the ass

but other than that it has perfect compression, great acceleration, and about a week ago it spanked a 03 honda with a single cam V-tech with a 300lbs camper topper, a BBK-grill in the back, and tools on the doors,
so i can say its in really good conditions lol
