Help with wheel backspace
SSM's technically can lower the ride height. If the rear pivot point of the LCA is moved down an inch that means that the spring purch (since attached to the LCA) will also be lower than its original position. Being its not on the end of the arm it may only lower it 3/4" or something.
SSM will also increase your AS. This means it will hit the tires harder but can unload quicker if you don't have a loose nose to keep the load all through the 60'. You also need adjustable uppers to dial in your PA. But you may want to also look at UCA's that relocate the rear pivot point. This will move your IC back and increase your AS.
Have you ever plotted your suspension?

The upper bolt will retain the stock setting (or close to it). If you put it on the lower bolt so that your LCA will angle upward toward the front of the car, it will increase your antisquat. As far as UCA's. Team Z or Baseline Suspensions offer a good UCA that has the capability of adjusting the PA and relocates the mounting point up and forward. However, they are a fixed position UCA. Meaning you can relocate it from the position they offer.
I just recently purchased a set of UCA from Walt at Realspeed who is selling UCA with relocation brackets that are adjustable. I will be testing them at DH12. here is a pic...

Ok, so I did some digging, and I know that I'll have to break down and get some upper adjustables, but here is my breakdown of the suspension. I just started looking at what I actually have and it looks like I'll be needing different shocks.
Front:
UPR Coil overs with a 12-250 spring
Bilstein struts (Stock IIRC)
Max. Motorsports C&C plates
Rear:
UPR Coil overs with a 10-150 spring
Lakewood 50/50's
Lakewood solid tubular LCA's with reloc. braket
Lakewood solid tubular UCA's
I'll post up a video of the car launching at 3500 rpm's in a minute. It seems like it starts to transfers then just unloads.

I think after after really digging on the suspension of what I have on there, it is too much. Although, how tall are your springs. Mine are 12" and a lot of people were saying 14-150's.
Here is a pic of the lift bars that I use.

You can use 12" springs for the front. But I agree with GN. 250 is too high if you're looking for all out drag perforance. Depending on the nose weight I'd try 175's. Then if it doesn't coil bind you can try 150's. Used springs are only 50$ or so, so its a cheap investment that you can turnaround and sell if you can't use them.
If I were you I'd put those LCA's on the upper bolt then get some UCA's that relocate the rear pivot point. Set your ride height and pinon angle and test it. If she spins then lower the bolt on the LCA's to increase your AS. You don't want your AS too high. Between 100-110% is optimal.

That is what I will probably do then. I think I'm going to hold off on the UCA's to see how yours work out for you. The seems like a quality piece and if they work, they'd be easy to get ahold of.
