what do you all think?
dyno Don Nickelson Tunnel ram with twin 600 edelbrocks..NO SPRAY and we broke the dyno at 48 mph at just under 500 horse with it shifted to third. Dyno guy had it in second thought it was third and when it shifted it jacked the dyno all up..took them an hour to fix the dyno and fryed my coil in the safety mode of the dyno shutting off.......enclosed pic of said car..

460's don't do great on fuel and it would be costly to find a transmission with overdrive to hold up against all that torque making it highway friendly..Most peeps use a built C6 to keep costs down..
I have an 85 mustang GT Ttop, caged, mini tubbed,460 C6 with nitrous I'm in the process of building. weight will be 3000(car only) cost of complete project will be about 6 grand and quarter times will be high 9's and still retain street driveability(legal)

Absolutly sickening!! Put a solid $1500 in the engine and you will have more than a tq demon and possible more than the Fox chassis can handle without the proper bracing. Cant wait to see what the t-top does!

Personally I'd stick with a 351w based motor... I just don't see how the 460 is worth it when you can make equal power (IIRC) on, say, a 408 stroker. If you're planning on boosting it anyways, why go for a 460 when you can just build a decent 351 and throw the boost at it then.

this. my freind and i built a 408 using a 351 block, 400 crank, and then bored. made some pretty good power out of a junk yard built n/a motor.

Stock D0VE headed 460 on a 250 shot will eliminate any stroker Windsor. Problem is getting all that TQ to the ground, and when you get it to the ground, praying that the 700ft/lbs of TQ dont take the driveshaft and shove it up through the tunnel.
