Yes. But you can still use 351 specific heads on a 302. You would use stepped washers for using 7/16 bolts/studs. ARP also makes 12 point head bolts with the step built into them. Its the same as when using TFS, AFR or Cainfield aluminum heads on a 302 with 7/16 studs. Most of them will be cast for use with 1/2" studs.
