Common V6 Swaps?
they make supercharger and turbocharger kits for the 3.8s.. If you have a 99+ v6 they are already only 90 hp away from 300.

well the issue here is that a rebuild would be a problem and last but not least..... nvm price is an issue. if i boost a 3.8 i may as well just swap a V8 ya know. i love boost but that Raw V8 rumble and torque is amazing. I got to drive my friends fathers banshee formula last week and

Now, If you wanted to drop a 5.0l based set up, your best bet would be to find a wrecked 94-95 GT for donor parts (or an entire swap). Swap the K member, wiring, fuel lines (they are return stlye), tank. Pretty much EVERYTHING from a 94-95.
The car I recently swapped the mark motor into runs CONSISTANT 12.3's @ 111, all motor, without powershifting. I'm pretty sure there's a little more in in too. The zoom clutch is not liking herd launches on slicks and slips/flares on the shifts. Once I put a clutch in it and the car gets powershifted It will hopefully hit an 11.99
Thats with boltons, exhaust, slicks, and 4.56 gears (ran 12.47 @ 109 with 4.10s)
So with all that bieng said.....X2 on a 4v swap!

I am modular dumb....how much is involved in modding the harness for the 4v and do you still use the 2v computer if its already a V8 car? or does the 4v run a different computer?
It made 283/243 on the motor with a short runner. Then made 330/300 with 5-7#s of boost. Supporting mods, 430s, etc etc. Not very impressive on the dyno but I was pulling modded 03/04s make 100+ more hp at the wheels. Starting to get a motor together now. It started to knock the other night
