Default Help me get to 350 hp!!

I have an 89 LX 5.0 its automatic and is going to be eventually be a daily driver. Would like to have some extra ponies to have some fun with and was wondering what you guys think is the best course of action. I think 350 is a good realistic number to achieve. Right now it is sporting a 306 block it has exhaust, xpipe, intake, pulleys. I was thinking a set of basic heads, e303 cam and upper and lower intake would get me some good ponies and then maybe a nice 50 shot? Not really sure I have been out of of the 5.0 market forever just need help relearning potentials and such. Also anyone on here who could help me with a cam install or I could pay to do it, never done one on a mustang and would love to learn. Thanks for the input!

Long tubes, off road H-pipe, 150 shot and call it a day.

honestly 350 to the wheels will be a fairly aggressive 306 unless you turbo or supercharge it, the 150 shot can possibly get you there but you will be bottle dependant, did that for several years myself (175 shot).
everyone claims to make that kind of hp na but really you need some compression, a nice matched heads/cam/intake and several supporting mods to get a realistic 350 hp to the wheels with decent driveability.

I was thinking 350 fly, I know wheel hp will be tough na and especially with the auto.

I was thinking gt40p heads, gt40 intake manifolds, e303 cam, full exhaust and nitrous.

With all that it will be fairly easy to get 350 to the flywheel for sure!

I was hoping so, wont break the bank either. Pretty good stuff for a good budget daily driver I would say. Now, who here knows how to install a cam hahah that is past my knowledge, I am only an expert in detailing.

Your profile says you're in Orlando. Most of the people on here who own shops are in Larghetto, Clearwater, or St. Petersburg.....There are the OCCASIONAL ones in Tampa. My recommendation is Dave at Genium Performance. He has a shop forum on here.
