Its been so long since I have had a fox that I am trying to relearn everything.

Ive never seen one at the track , but all the evo's that have been on passtime claimed 600 hp and were all in the 12's..dont get me wrong , I like the evo I just havnt seen one do what I thought it would do

my easy answer , if you have the $$$$ is old reliable. LS1 and six speed. oops wrong forum. If it 'll fit you got an easy 350 and the sky's the limit. In the chebby world we call a mustang with that setup , a ford with a heartbeat.some of you might think thats blasphemous but it makes a badass car. Nothing wrong with ford tuff with chevy stuff.

There are guys with 520ish wheel hp running 10s its all about the driver with the Evo there are different ways to drive it and ways to take some weight off that really help it.

If you wanna go fast cheap a carb is the best option. You have forged internals, toss a simple intake on, carb and a 150 shot. In a light Mustang it'll haul ass.

I am really considering the carb option, doing my research on switch from efi. I am just not the best at tuning one I can tell you that right now.

If I was doing this and stayed EFI I would buy a whole GT40 top end. Heads, intake, TB, ect ect.. then toss a 150 shot on it.

My buddy Dave (MustangDave33) had a junk yard 302 short block a couple years back. Put a "E" cam in it, GT40x heads, 1.6s, 750 holley and a big RPM intake, with the 150 shot, it was running in the 11s. Not bad for a 1500 dollar setup...

ok man check this out. I have a 94 with a 302 stock bottom end with TFS aluminum heads, a TFS stage 1 cam, TFS track heat intake, 30 lbs injectors, ( which i m thinking of going back down to 24s ) 70 mm throttle body, 76 mm mass air with 30 lbs injector inlet tube, a pulley kit, CAI fenderwell design, melling HV oil pump, Basani equal length shorty headers, Basani x-pipe with high flow cats and Borla out the back all stainless, and a Paxton fuel pressure regulator. With Power steering and A/C and a tremec 3550 manual with 3.55 gears and 31 spline Strange SS axels, and she put down 340 HP and 350 TQ and the fly.
